Bill Driscoll, Principal
With over 35 years of experience, a wide array of non-profits and organizations turn to Bill Driscoll for advice and counsel on their budgetary, programmatic, and legislative priorities. Having served as Chief of Staff in the New York State Assembly for Assemblyman Denis Butler, in the City Council to Council Member Karen Koslowitz, in Congress for Representative Thomas Manton, and as Counsel to the Queens County Clerk Gloria D'Amico, Bill Driscoll has the knowledge of how government works and remains a vital part of the New York State political spectrum.
Bill currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Democratic Committee and sits on the Board of the Immaculate Conception School in Astoria. Bill received his Juris Doctorate from the City University of New York.
Ian Magerkurth, Vice President
Ian joined The Driscoll Group in 2011. Ian's experience in federal, state, city and local government allows him to develop and execute strategies, bringing the highest level of satisfaction to each client and organization represented.
Ian has served as a Legislative Assistant for New York State Senator Jose M. Serrano, a Special Assistant to the campaign for Brian X. Foley of Brookhaven for the New York State Senate and in the Press Department for former United States Senator Hillary R. Clinton of New York in Washington D.C. Subsequently, Ian has been involved in several political campaigns on the federal, state, and local levels and is seen as a rising star in New York State's political world.
Ian currently serves as a member of Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society, Xi Theta Chapter, the American Society for Public Administration and has previously served on the Executive Board of the Action Long Island Young Adult Initiative, and as a member of the Nassau County Youth Cabinet. He received his B.A. in Political Science and Public Administration from SUNY College at Buffalo.
